Happy 4th of July readers!

About my title… Derek has discovered a very freaky infinite loop involving wars and the 4th of July. A very interesting entry indeed; I suggest you read it. Who knows, maybe it’ll be the next Time Magazine feature?

But, back to Gina ACTION News.

Today has been… rather interesting. Last night I fell asleep at midnight and woke up at exactly noon. 12 hours… well the ride home from Philly with 1/2 hour of sleep might of been a reason.

Anyway, I came downstairs, bummed around on the couch a lil, listened to my cd player. Kimmie and Ricky have thier hours on the computer, and then I get on.

I check my mail, wrote back to everyone, and check blogs. Then I played Enemy Territory with my dear ol’ dad (he had a day off today). We had a killing spree up till dinner. I got kicked off early in the game (my rank was sargeant) and then I got real high with me stats (I was almost maxed out on everything), and I was a MAJOR I had three awards and I was kicking ass. But then dinner comes around. So me and Dad become spectators. I eat real quick and then come back to my computer only to find that the damn server booted me off because the freaken’ key config was being all screwy again! NOOOO All of my stats; gone!! The injustice!

So I exit the game, delete the old key, and then attempt to start the program up. It freezes on me! WHAT THE HELL? So now I’m having a huge fit. I restart the computer, blah blah blah. And then I start up the game… again. It starts up and then I select my profile and the mods, and then I join the game again. As I said before my stats were back to zero (*sniff*) and so I had to start all over from scratch. Now, my “player alias” is [Ars]Shorty. However, when I would say something, or when I joined a team (Axis or Allies), the player name that showed up in the game was our default one (Me all that is). This pissed me off to all Hell’s Creation, and I exited the game, uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game, install the extra patches, moved all the downloaded maps to the folder, recreate my profile, customize my controls, and customize the graphics settings. And all the while the damn patches were being bitches over getting installed, which pissed me off again. So then before I start up the game – again – I delete the key just to make sure it wasn’t messed up and I entered the game… again. But then I forgot to create and NEW key so the game freezes on me! So then I restart the computer, get back into the game, recreate the key, and then I joined the server, and then I had the reset my controls… again. AUUGGGGHHHHHHH! I HATE MONDAYS!!.

But after that, I kicked some ass, and now I have to finish with this so I can go to bed.
