I’ve always wanted to see a solor eclipse… without having o travel thousands of miles.
A few weeks ago I heard from our friend Natalie “Da Nat” Hornbeck that there’s supposed to be a solor eclipse Septembre 22nd this year. I check on the Internet, and I found out this: This particular solar eclipse will be seen in South America, Western Africa and Anartica. Like so many times before, we’ve been too high up North to witness an event such as a solor eclipse.
Now, I got annoyed, and decided to look up solar eclipses that’ll happen in the future and I found out this: There is supposed to be a solor eclipse August 1st, 2008 that will be seen by people in Europe, Asia, and us (North Eastern North America). Those that will be able to see a total eclipse are those who are in Northern Canada, Greenland, Siberia, Mongolia, and China. This menas that those in Northern Canada will see a full eclipse, but we’ll be able to see a partial eclipse. That’s pretty cool considering I’ve never seen one in my life…. actually I’m looking it up more, and it doesn’t look like we’ll be far enough North to see it _’
Figures… well I’m keeping an eye on this one just in case anyway.
