Hershey Park…

WAS A COMPLETE BLAST!!!! W00T!!! You all thought Great Escape was awesome, Hershey Park… renders me speechless. Well it did before, but now that I’ve recovered from the shock I can tell you how much the field trip KICKED ASS!!! The first, and last, ride I went on was the Great Bear… wow… that was so intense. It’s an inverted roller coaster, meaning we rode below the track instead of above it. And that thing threw us around. At 61 mph.
Whew.
My next favorite was the Storm Runner. You thought the Great Bear was intense. I LOVED THE STORM RUNNER. Okay, first it started us out gently rolling us out of the loading zone. When we got about twenty feet out of the zone, you stop. About half a minute went by and nothing happened. Then, suddnely, we were launched. Holy crap were we lauched. We were going so fast so suddnely, when it normally takes me not even a second to take a breath and scream, it took me around 5 seconds to get a breath deep enough to scream. LOL we were going so fast our eyes were watering up. We whipped around turns… while turning ourselves, and WOW IT WAS FUN!!! Later I found out that thing launches you from 0-72 mph in 2 seconds. GOD. I screamed myself hoarse during that ride. And I would have totally done it again, but the line was really, REALLY long, and we didn’t have the time. Oh well, next time I get my ass up there, I’m going to go back and forth between those two dies all day *grin* and maybe I’ll go on a couple others.
One ride we wanted to go on, but couldn’t was the Tidal Force. I watched it go through, and holy crap, it gets you completely drenched. We couldn’t go in went we tried cause we didn’t have shoes on! And then we said screw it, the line’s too long.
This is what is looked like… too bad we couldn’t go on it, it was pretty hot too.

WHEW!!! That woulda been AWESOME! But there’s always next time *grin*
PS – This post should have been this morning, but I forget to write about it, the game was on my mind all day. So, until next time (tomorrow… chenango forks… grrr), I’ll see you on the east side! LOL
