I Need A Happier Post…

And so, I will give it to you.

I’m feeling a bit better since that emo episode not too long ago. Mom, bless her soul, gave me some valuable insight. I swear, I think SHE should be my psychiatrist. But I have a lot of work to do, basically. But enough of that, let’s move on with some cooler shit.

So I just got done almost packing (I’m going to pack this laptop of mine and my flatiron tomorrow morning) for my trip tomorrow to Buffalo. And I’m pretty sure no one really knows what I’m talking about so I’ll abridge it for you.

Basically, From the 20th to the 25th, I’ll be working as volunteer medical staff (love being an AT student) at the Empire State Games, up in Buffalo. I’m going to definitely take the opportunity to do some REAL clubbing, and perhaps I’ll even be able to check out the Falls before I go back. But I’m really looking forward to this trip. And I’ll be going to bed shortly after I finish this post though I doubt I’m gonna get any sleep…

One thing I’m going to try and do is record the almost-week-long trip with my phone and post it on Youtube. That way, it’ll be almost as if you were right there with me! Yea, not really, I know… yes it was really cheesy sounding. But what better way to talk about my trip than to show it? Besides that, it’s an experiment with my phone to see just how good the quality of the video is. My old EnV 3 had really good pics, but the video quality was *horrible*. I’m crossing my fingers with my new EnV Touch.

Anyway, I really should get going to bed. I have a long day ahead of me, and it’ll only get dangerous if I fall asleep behind the wheel. I’ll try and tell you how it goes as it goes!

Hershey Park…

Posted: under Going Places.

WAS A COMPLETE BLAST!!!! W00T!!! You all thought Great Escape was awesome, Hershey Park… renders me speechless. Well it did before, but now that I’ve recovered from the shock I can tell you how much the field trip KICKED ASS!!! The first, and last, ride I went on was the Great Bear… wow… that was so intense. It’s an inverted roller coaster, meaning we rode below the track instead of above it. And that thing threw us around. At 61 mph.

Whew.

My next favorite was the Storm Runner. You thought the Great Bear was intense. I LOVED THE STORM RUNNER. Okay, first it started us out gently rolling us out of the loading zone. When we got about twenty feet out of the zone, you stop. About half a minute went by and nothing happened. Then, suddnely, we were launched. Holy crap were we lauched. We were going so fast so suddnely, when it normally takes me not even a second to take a breath and scream, it took me around 5 seconds to get a breath deep enough to scream. LOL we were going so fast our eyes were watering up. We whipped around turns… while turning ourselves, and WOW IT WAS FUN!!! Later I found out that thing launches you from 0-72 mph in 2 seconds. GOD. I screamed myself hoarse during that ride. And I would have totally done it again, but the line was really, REALLY long, and we didn’t have the time. Oh well, next time I get my ass up there, I’m going to go back and forth between those two dies all day *grin* and maybe I’ll go on a couple others.

One ride we wanted to go on, but couldn’t was the Tidal Force. I watched it go through, and holy crap, it gets you completely drenched. We couldn’t go in went we tried cause we didn’t have shoes on! And then we said screw it, the line’s too long.

This is what is looked like… too bad we couldn’t go on it, it was pretty hot too.

null

WHEW!!! That woulda been AWESOME! But there’s always next time *grin*

PS – This post should have been this morning, but I forget to write about it, the game was on my mind all day. So, until next time (tomorrow… chenango forks… grrr), I’ll see you on the east side! LOL

I’m Home… Again

Posted: under Going Places.

Yea, the camping trip overall was pretty good.

The Festival was… dull. The rides sucked. Except for the Zipper. I liked the Zipper =D.

Anyway, I missed everyone so much I came home a day early. In fact, I leapt at the first opprotunity I got. And now that I’m home, I feel much happier.

It’s Good to be Home

Posted: under Going Places.

Yea, I just got back. I’ve missed everyone! And let’s see… Kasedy REALLY missed me, Tracy was very bored, I don’t know what Hoffman’s been up to ’cause his computer is busted, I don’t know what Andy’s been up to cause…. well you all know why, Ruland’s being a prick, Kimmi’s 17 years old, and Steve was Bored bored bored bored bored BORED!!! Like I said before, I just hold all society together…

My Aunt Karen and her kids and her mom are here right now. The one person whom I would have LOVED to bring up here to see everyone was my cousin Damion. I saw him last night real last. Before that I saw him… seven years ago. And the cool thing is, the moment I saw him, we were talking and everything like we had known each other forever.

… Since Eddy and Tracy “seem” to be getting impatient, I’ll have to finish this later.

To everyone else; I’m baaaaaaaaaack!

Okay, it’s been later, and here’s basically what I did (in simple terms cause today’s tomrrow and I don’t remember what I did); I went to a pretty boring bonfire with Kasedy and Tracy (not too boring, just mostly). We played basketball, chased Kasedy’s uncle and his friend, slaved for her mother, jumped on the trampoline, lolled around on hammocks, got eaten alive by mosquitoes (not very fun!), and ate marshmellows by the fire. It was that bad folks. j/k It was pretty good. But not my idea of fun.

Judging from Steve’s activities, he’s been having a ball. And probably NOT getting bitten. lucky. And as for everyone else, I have no idea what they did for July 4th.

Anyway, I’ve been missing Aunt Karen and the lots from PA (yes already!). I have Damion’s email, but not Aunt Karen’s. I’m going to see if Damion has it.

But for now, I have bed to go to. See you all later!

This is Gina Baker, for Gina ACTION News saying, Goodnite.

Onward to Philly!

Posted: under Going Places.

In about a few minutes, I’m going to get into the car, and I’m going to go to Philly. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, Philly is short for Philadelphia. And it’s only me going.

I’m sure most of you are asking why only me???

Well, it’s cause I’ve been through alot this past few months, and my mom said that I deserved a break. So, she’s sending me to Philly to get away from all this.

I’m going to be away from a…. decent computer (sorry Aunt Karen!), so I’m not going to be able to update until I return.

Till then, I’ll miss you guys

luv always
Gina
