All About G

I have three tests next week, two of which are tomorrow.

Currently, my physical status is Shitty.

God, why am I still awake? That’s a stupid question; I’m listening to music. I should probably go to bed…

Hope no one else is feeling as crappy as I am.

ahaha, TWO MORE FREAKIN DAYS! I can’t wait; you all have no idea. Seriously. If it weren’t for the fact that my ONLY in-class final was on Friday, I would have been home way earlier.

Ah well, you can’t have everything.

I have a portfolio to finish, plus two take home finals. The damned portfolio would be done too, if it weren’t for the stupid javascript. It TAKES FOREVER. It lags even more than adobe files I read through my browser! What the hell is wrong here?! UGH. DAMN JAVASCRIPT. I would have been done with this stupid thing HOURS ago.

I actually would have been finished with it yesterday, if I had worked on it yesterday (and if java wasn’t so damn slow). And I would have worked on it too, you see (is that ‘to’ earlier in the sentence suppose to have one O or two? The grammar rules have fled my mind for the time being). But I couldn’t move at all yesterday. I was sick… still am. Yesterday I had the worst headache… well not the worst headache I’ve ever had… one time I had a migraine… oh gawd I hope I never get one again. But it was still a bad headache. It hurt to be upright, it hurt to be lying down. It even hurt in the dark or even with my eyes closed. The night before I was freezing; I was bundled up with everything I had and I was still shivering uncontrollably. Very miserable, I’ll tell you. Luckily, thanks to me being in bed all day yesterday (not like I could do much of anything else…) I feel so much better. I believe I’ll feel better by Friday at the latest, as long as I continue to rest.

The only things I have to do are my take home finals, and eventually get this portfolio done (stupid freakin’ javascript… it’s already 10:30, and I’m still not done…). And then the final on Friday, and I’m done. Thank God. It’s about time. I’m really tired of being here… A lot of people don’t seem to understand me… I’ll get into that one later.

That’s a lame-ass title. But oh well.

I meant to update on Sunday after I had returned from the College of New Jersey (haha, you all didn’t know I went, either). Anyway, for the College of New Jersey, I think I did pretty well. My 100 pr is officially 13.93, not too far off from qualifying for states. A few tenths, if I recall correctly. Our 4×1 was good, but I don’t remember what time we got. My long and triple jumps were okay, but I’ve yet to beat my indoor pr’s for either.

As for yesterday’s meet, it basically sucked. Mainly because it was cold and windy. But life’s like that. Hopefully I got the shittiness out yesterday so that come this Saturday, when we compete in the Empire 8 championships, I can completely kick ass.

And, oh yea. I’m sick. Again.

Figures.

So…. I’ve been sick since the 3rd… which means I’ve been sick for ten days. That’s just my luck, right? Because I’m in the middle of midterms, and I’m sick, so I can’t concentrate when studying. I took my ANP practical… If I didn’t fail and bring my grade even lower, then I’ll die of shock. What would look better on a transcript: failing a course, or withdrawing from it? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway, yep I’m sick. This Wednesday, after classes, fall break will start! AND I CAN’T WAIT TO GO HOME. I really want to go home. I’m exhausted, and I’ll get a good rest while there, as well a chance to see friends.

Of course you’re probably wondering why I’m still awake if I’m sick… That’s a good question. I should probably go to bed. So that’s what I’m gonna do waves offhandedly as she gets up and goes to bed

Infectious mononucleosis, (also known as the kissing disease, or Pfeiffer’s disease, in North America as mono and more commonly known as glandular fever in other English-speaking countries) is seen most commonly in adolescents and young adults, characterized in teenagers by fever, sore throat, muscle soreness, and fatigue.

The typical symptoms and signs of mononucleosis are:

* Fever—this varies from mild to severe, but is seen in nearly all cases. * Tender and enlarged/swollen lymph nodes—particularly the posterior cervical lymph nodes, on both sides of the neck. * Sore throat—White patches on the tonsils and back of the throat are often seen * Fatigue (sometimes extreme fatigue)

ahem My symptoms at this moment (it’s day 2)...

– Tender and enlarged swollen lymph nodes (the posterior cervical lymph nodes, to be exact) – Sore throat (not pathces yet… it’s only day 2) – Fatigue… extreme fatigue…

Some patients also display:

* Enlarged spleen (splenomegaly, which may lead to rupture) and/or liver (hepatomegaly) * Petechial hemorrhage * Abdominal pain * Aching muscles * Headache * Loss of appetite * Jaundice * Depression * Weakness * Skin rash * Dizziness or disorientation * Uncontrolled shaking at times * Dry cough * Enlarged Prostate * Supra-orbital oedema—the eyes become puffy and swollen—may occur in the early stages of infection – Muscle ache (I know I’m sore from track, but I can tell what’s from track, and what’s not, and I’m achy as in not from track… plus my body feels like it weighs a ton)
-Headache (a really nice one, I might add… not a migraine yet, thank God) – Loss of appetite? (Actually, that’s true, because I’m not as hungry as I would be normally… which sucks because I gave blood yesterday _) – Weakness (again, my body feels like it’s a block of lead) – Dizziness/disorientation (well, I do feel dizzy, but I thought that was from my headache?) – Uncontrolled shaking (well, that’s from the fact that I gave blood, and that I haven’t been eating much since then)

So… yea… I went in to get tested for strep throat… but I was thinking about it more… I hope I don’t have mono. That would REALLY screw me over for the semester. But then again…

Symptoms of strep throat include:

* Sore throat * Red and Black patches in the throat. * Difficulty swallowing * Tender cervical lymphadenopathy * Red and enlarged tonsils * Halitosis * Fever of 101 F/38C or greater * Rash [1] * Frequent cold chills * Absence of cough * White spots on tonsils * Desquamation (peeling skin on fingertips) a few weeks after treatment – Sore throat (uhhh… duh?) – Difficulty swallowing (yup) – Tender cervical lymphadenopathy (if it’s the same thing as tender posterior cervical lymph nodes, then yes) – Red and enlarged tonsils (were they red when the nurse checked them? I don’t recall) – Halitosis (I’ve always had bad breath XDDD) – Frequent cold chills (yep, though I don’t have a fever) – Absence of cough (yup, definitely)

...

Hopefully, I’m over-reacting.

Well, not disease. Something like strep. But I’m still sick. Been sick since Monday afternoon. Actually I noticed that I had a headache while playing volleyball 5th period. It went away, but it came back with a new vengance around 8th period. Of course I didn’t tell anyone I felt like crap, cause school was almost done for the day, so tough it out for the last two periods. Why not?

So, here I am, my throat hurts, my head hurts. I’m bored, and tired, and annoyed. I’m missing school… and tests. And Christmas is in five days.

And I really doubt I’m going to go to school for the rest of this week, especially since I probably have strep. :::sigh::: This majoly sucks.

BUT I’m going to have Mom drive me up to the school so I can drop off my hw. I don’t want to fall behind too much T_T

Happy Holidays… and don’t get sick. It sucks.
